If decorative concrete is such a high quality material then

This is a misconception. Compared to natural materials and pavers, decorative concrete is a bargain. Does all concrete crack?
Yes, all concrete does crack, but at Green Concrete we can generally determine where these cracks are going to occur. We make a stress cut design in the pattern that makes the crack almost imperceptible.
Is there maintenance involved in decorative concrete?
Like all things, care increases longevity. Your decorative concrete surface requires little maintenance. A quick rinse with a hose will bring back the original luster to the surface. For high traffic areas additional coats of our special professional industrial sealer can be applied, but this is rarely needed until after the first 5 years.
How long does the process take?
This depends on size and complexity of your design. Generally from the start date to the time you can be enjoying your space is about 10 to 14 days. New concrete requires approximately 30 days to cure, and our experience tells us to allow an additional 2 to 5 days before sealing to ensure the longest longevity. We want your end result to be a lasting result!
